It was hard to beat the show-stopping headliner Iron Maiden announced for Soundwave 2011, even harder when combined with the chart topping rockers Queens of the Stone Age. But backing up these huge acts comes the second announcement for this explosive festival.

One Day As a Lion - the collaboration between Rage Against the Machine frontman Zack de la Rocha and former Mars Volta drummer Jon Theodore will be taking its place among the headliners for the event. One Day As a Lion are a rare act to catch so it will be exciting to see what they send out to crowds on the big day.

Backing up the dynamic duo is Bullet for my Valentine, Bring Me The Horizon, The Murderdolls, Dimmu Borgir, Coheed and Cambria and The Amity Affliction. Add to that Feeder, H2O The Rocket Summer, Saxon Silverstein, Fucked Up and We the Kings and we've got all the goods for a rocking festival.
