The Big Day Out lineup has been attracting some attention of late with several rumours flying around on who will be appearing in the first announcement. We can safely say at the moment that musician and producer Mark Ronson will appear having confirmed his placement on the lineup in a recent interview. M.I.A has also been confirmed along with proclaimed one-hit wonder Andrew WK. Soundgarden and Kings of Leon have also been confirmed by the Big Day Out head office as well as Stone Temple Pilot who are said to be supporting the headliners.

These may very well be well said rumours but it's certainly something to get excited about for this summer. We've heard every other lineup so far so all we have left to anticipate if what will come next? Keep your eyes and your ears open for more confirmations.
