One Movement for Music Perth announces stellar lineup for 2010

Children Collide

One Movement for Music Perth will yet again be a groundbreaking event for the year having finally unveiled the artists set to perform at the event in October, 2010. The lineup has been described as a step up from previous years with international artists spanning from the UK to Canada to India and all places between. Headliners for the festival will include Australian rockers Xavier Rudd, Grinspoon, Children Collide and British India along with other popular live acts Operator Please, Drapht, Cloud Control and Sally Seltmann.

The headliners are set to be supported by several emerging acts for 2010 including Gypsy and The Cat, An Horse, Hungry Kids of Hungary, Parades, Richard in your Mind, Boy and Bear, The Melodics, Tim and Jean, The Holidays, The Only, The Paper Scissors, Purple Sneakers DJs and The Chemist. Once again Triple J will be flourishing the event with a fresh batch of Unearthed High winners including Stonefield and the Triple J Unearthed State Winners yet to be announced.

The international contingent is equally as impressive with Ben Kweller (USA), Shapeshifter (NZ), Dengue Fever (USA), ZE! (Malaysia), Delta Spirit (USA), Via Tania (USA), Raghu Dixit (India Jonneine Zapata (USA), Bedouin Soundclash (Can), KORA (NZ), The Telephones (Japan), Melodramas (UK), Liz Green (UK), Get Dexter (UK) and The Great Spy Experiment (Sing) all taking the trip to make 2010's One Movement for Music festival the best yet.

The festival will run over the weekend from Saturday October 9 to Sunday October 10, 2010 at The Esplanade.
