Jane's Addiction announce Soundwave sideshows

Jane’s Addiction have always stood out as an incomparable force, blending elements of art rock, punk, metal, funk and glamour into an ambitious musical juxtaposition of sublime beauty and utter decadence.
Early performances gained the band a reputation for legendary live shows and many still regard those first-run Jane's concerts as almost religious experiences. In the seventeen years since the original line-up's last performance, there has been an ebb and flow of band formations and side projects until... in April 2008, Perry Farrell, Dave Navarro, Stephen Perkins and Eric Avery reformed to play again. NME was there to witness one of their UK shows and were left in awe... "The music is seismic. Gigs simply don't come much better. They can't. To have them back is a crazy privilege."
Joining Jane’s Addiction is one of the most fearless bands in music today, Rolo Tomassi. So strap yourself down and prepare for a brain-burning adventure into their abstract spazzcore lunacy; it’s like "Dillinger Escape Plan crashing into The Tate Modern." - Kerrang!
On the back of their performances at Soundwave 2010 Jane’s Addiction will be performing two club shows in Sydney and Melbourne respectively.
Tickets go on sale Thursday November 19 at 9am.
